This project seeks to determine the structure necessary for the implementation of a decision making model for maintenance at the Windfarm Los Santos, which has 15 wind turbines G52-850 kW. It starts with the analysis of work orders between the 29 July 2014 and 13 July 2016. So the cost and time required for maintenance according to the main systems that make up the wind turbine unit is analyzed. Of which it was determined that correspond to critical components: the generator, the gearbox, the hydraulics system and rotor. Condition variables that can be currently monitored, which could be useful for the application of the model were selected. Therefore, only it proposes adding vibration measurements, as although a system of accelerometers in each unit is installed, by a cost issue of the manufacturer cannot be used it. Accordingly, it is proposed an alternative of National Instruments for this purpose, which will also allow startup predictive maintenance plan for the units immediately. They are analyzed data wind speeds from the years 2013, 2014 and 2015 in order to display the variability of load on the units over the years. Therefore, it is added the load node to the topologies for the artificial neural networks proposed, which corresponds to the power generated in the unit, so as to allow this to consider changing of it in the model.
