Abstract
In this document, everything related to the completion of the graduation project will be written, to opt for the degree of degree in engineering in industrial maintenance. This project is about a redesign of the electrical installation of the BioLand company, located in Tres Ríos, Cartago, which preliminarily has an estimated load of 300 kVA installed, as indicated to us by the engineer in charge of the electromechanical area, this redesign It is with the purpose of a short or medium term to carry out a study of the quality of energy. For this redesign, in the first instance a diagnosis of the current installation of the plant will be made, in order to verify the state of the plant. Perform an analysis of this electrical system, such as load calculations, to verify if the transformers are well selected, as well as a detailed inspection of the gauge of the feeder conductors, sub-feeders, and the branches that feed the different loads, also of the protections that are on the boards. After carrying out this analysis, all the necessary measures will be taken for the new redesign, selection of conductors, protections, as well as calculation of short circuit currents, and in general any device that is involved, until reaching the selection. of the transformer, with their respective conductors and protection. Following this, there will be a survey of electrical drawings and one-line diagrams, with their respective calibers summaries, protections and equipment locations within the plant, all this to leave the company's electromechanical department a detailed report of what has been done. With this project, it will be possible to achieve a broad and up-to-date knowledge of BioLand's electrical infrastructure and, at the same time, facilitate maintenance and operation of the plant.
