This report shown the development of an Electronic system based on Arduino and LabVIEW for electrochemical characterization of materials through cyclic voltammetry technique. Besides, the hardware that performs the potentiostat function is designed to control a three-electrodes system. This device provides the option to choose one or more work cycles, besides vary its speed and the potential range. And the visualization of the current-potential response obtained during the cyclic voltammetry analysis is also presented. The importance of the instrument within the project "Development of microsystems for applications of characterization of compounds in aqueous medium by electrical impedance" is explained. This prototype allows us to make measurements of cyclic voltammetry within a voltage range of -2 V to 2 V with a minimum current of 0.1μA and a maximum current of 10μA that can be currently performed with the potentiometer model Metroohm AutoLab PGSTAT 128N from the School of Materials Engineering.es
