Análisis de los servicios de extensión comunitario que ofrece la Cooperativa Educativa del Colegio Técnico Profesional de Piedades Sur, San Ramón, Alajuela

Abstract

Con el propósito de que la Cooperativa del Colegio Técnico Profesional de Piedades Sur lidere el proceso de innovación en servicios cooperativos, la presente investigación se ha planteado describir el funcionamiento de la cooperativa educativo, distinguir las necesidades del distrito de Piedades sur y como tercer objetivo determinar la viabilidad entre los servicios que genera COOPEPEEF. R.L y las necesidades comunitarias. Esta investigación se desarrollara bajo un enfoque mixto que mediante un diseño descriptivo buscara caracterizar el estado actual de la cooperativa y sus cooperativistas, conocer las necesidades del distrito mediante entrevista a los actores sociales, de manera que se pueda triangular si los servicios que brinda la cooperativa están atendiendo las realidades de la comunidad. Dentro de los resultados de esta investigacion se destaca por parte de los cooperativista que las principales motivaciones para integrarse a la cooperativa son los deseos de ahorrar y la curiosidad de conocer sobre el cooperativismo, además estos definieron como necesidades primarias la extencion agropecuaria, la extensión tecnología y la formación de líderes y liderezas comunales como necesidades prioritarias. Por su parte un 80% de los actores desconocian la existencia de COOPEPEEF. R.L e identificaron la necesidad de agronegocios sustentables, extensión técnica agropecuria y acceso a tecnologías. Dando como resultado una similitud entre necesidades, pero no, una proyeccion desde la cooperativa hacia la comunidad. Esta coincidencia de necesidades se articulara mediante una propuesta que permita a la cooperativa ofrecer el servicio de extensión, infundado y basado en el modelo de extensión de la New Mexico State University, modelo que fue conocido y estudiado por los proponentes de esta investigación, mediante una pasantía academia entre el Instituto Tecnológico de Costa Rica y la NMSU.
