Elaboración de un plan de gestión de calidad dentro el proceso de administración de proyectos de Softon.
Abstract
Softon is a Costa Rican software development company for iOS and Android applications
with 7 years of experience in market. The project management methodology in Softon is based
on the Scrum methodology, however several projects developed by the company have presented
quality problems in the final products.
The main objective of this project is to develop a quality management plan that
complements development process of the company in order to improve the current process and
reduce the number of errors in the final products.
For that purpose, an analysis of the current situation was conducted to identify the main
problems. It was based on interviews with the company owners, analysis of documentation,
observation and a processing stage of the data collected in order to achieve the opportunity to
improvement the current process.
The research was made looking for standards and methodological frameworks that provide
solutions to improve quality in several phases of project management process like the final
product deliverable to the customer, the requirements gathering, design stage, and deliverables of
progress in the coding phase.
This analysis identified verification and validation tools and its structure and the process to be
used for appropriate quality assurance as well.
The quality management plan proposed in this project pretends to be the core of several postversions
in a continuous improvement as itself, identifying gradually improvement points in the
organization progresses.
Afterwards, a proposal of a Quality Control Plan was developed, based on methodological
standards and recognized frames of reference like PMI, ISO and IEEE.
