Productividad y rendimiento de mano de obra para algunos procesos constructivos seleccionados en la ejecución del edificio ISLHA del ITCR

Abstract

This project consists in performances and productivities determination in "core and shell" constructive activities, related to "Núcleo Integrado de Seguridad Laboral e Higiene Ambiental" building (ISLHA), which is under design, coordination an inspection of Engineering Office at Tecnológico de Costa Rica. At first, activities due to analyze were identified by a cost and criticality study. Samplings were taken to obtain productivity and performance data of processes related to those activities, which let determine there is no specific relationship among productivity and performance. This is because sometimes labors are done in an efficient way, but not in an effective one, or vice versa. The main factors affecting these variables were related to site design and workmanship. Performance data is now in a data bases (register) that let speed up the Engineering Office tasks, and with productivity ones a better control can be demanded on workers job, due to minimize costs related with this factor. It was realized a requirements study based on specifications and construction drawings for the chosen activities, this generated a quality check list in order to speed up inspection tasks and guarantee built elements quality.
