This investigation of the Community Cultural Center Nicolás Aguilar Murillo is the proposal of architectural blueprint, born from the need to solve the lack of spaces for the development of different cultural activities in the district of Barva, Heredia, through the creation of multifunctional, adaptable and flexible spaces that allow ownership by the users and union of the cultural community. It is common to find some multifunctional spaces in a Cultural Center, however, given the limited conditions of space in this blueprint, it is necessary for each space to transcend the form in which it functions naturally, and to allow ownership by the community, whereby they are the ones who will propose the activities they want to conduct. Hence, the importance of an efficient and assertive management. This way, we seek to consolidate a design proposal that integrates the design variables of the community space, for recreational and cultural use, and especially, that is integrated in a residencial context with particular historical features, with a broad range of cultural and traditional activites in which the main axis is the community who will own the space, identify with it and give continuity to this blueprint.
