Abstract

El propósito de este proyecto es brindar ayuda a estudiantes y familias que se incursionan en una nueva etapa, en la cual buscan ser los profesionales del mañana, logrando así un futuro mejor. El proceso para entrar a la universidad en los Estados Unidos no es sencillo de realizar, el procedimiento requiere que los estudiantes junto a sus familias hagan una inversión considerable de tiempo y recursos para poder encontrar la mejor universidad que cumpla con sus requisitos y que además se adapte a todas sus necesidades; existen demasiadas opciones por las cuales optar y cada proceso es sumamente extenso y complejo, todo esto antes de proceder a aplicar a alguna de ellas, lo que también requiere otro sinfín de requisitos, por lo que el encontrar la universidad indicada no es nada sencillo de hacer. Pernix Solutions S.A es una empresa nacional que nace en el año 2009 la cual ofrece un proyecto denominado Partners For Achievement (PFA) el cual ha tenido como objetivo principal brindar ayuda a estas familias para que puedan hacer de todo este proceso algo más sencillo, donde puedan contar con una mejor guía para tomar la mejor decisión teniendo toda la información necesaria para hacerlo, además de contar con gran ayuda que les facilite dicho proceso, todo en un único sitio que les permite agilizar todos estos trámites. De esta forma, para dar solución a las deficiencias presentes en la plataforma de PFA, se pretende contribuir con la gestión de la información de la misma, esto por medio de la actualización de características existentes dentro de dicha plataforma, así como la creación de nuevas funcionalidades. Con esto, se pretende solventar las necesidades de los estudiantes y sus familias, manteniendo actualizada la plataforma, para ayudarlos y guiarlos en su ingreso a la universidad en los Estados Unidos.

In this way, it is intended to contribute to the information management of the PFA platform through the creation of new requirements and the modification of existing functionalities within it, which together will allow the existence of considerable improvements in the processes that must be carried out, covering the needs of students and their families. It is to contribute to the issues in the PFA platform, and it is proposed to incorporate new features and make updates to improve existing features within the platform; this is to keep the platform updated and continue to help students in their entrance to the University in the United States.
