El crimen se mueve en la red

Abstract

Un tema que va al lado con la “protección de datos” es el de los delitos informáticos: con robos de datos principalmente. Existen cifras muy altas de personas que han sido víctimas de códigos maliciosos. Este problema no sólo afecta a particulares sino a empresas, las cuales invierten grandes cantidades de dinero para la protección de datos. Por lo cual Costa Rica ha firmado un convenio internacional para hacerle frente al problema, sin embargo, el convenio no se ha ratificado. Esto ha impedido que se puedan tomar medidas más serias y fuertes respecto a la ciber-delincuencia.

One issue that goes hand in hand with "data protection" is that of computer crime: mainly data theft. There are very high numbers of people who have been victims of malicious code. This problem not only affects individuals but companies, which invest large amounts of money for data protection. As a result of which Costa Rica has signed an international agreement to address the problem, however, the agreement has not been ratified. This has prevented more serious and serious action on cyber-crime.
