The attention of the musculoskeletal injuries presented in the occupational groups requires a preventive approach. Since these injuries and their manifestations are the most important causes of high costs in health care, the increase of disability´s days and at the percentage of disability, as well as losses for companies by decreasing productivity due to absenteeism.

It is using a descriptive cross-sectional model, and once the results are analyzed, it will propose a multidisciplinary approach directed at the promotion of occupational health to all ICE workers.
One the main results was that the probability of developing musculoskeletal lesions, OR values with significance are in the group of women (OR = 1.20), who perform non-manual tasks (OR = 1.07), who are more than 45 years of age (OR = 1.65), they have more than 20 years of work experience (OR = 1.80) and they are located at the central region (OR = 1.23).
