The project developed thru this paper suggests a methodology guide for small business transition projects, focused on the correct time and human resource management, with the objective to eliminate the unstructured way businesses are being transitioned to Intel’s Shared Service Center® established in Costa Rica. The methodology guide was created based on the needs identified through the application of a research which showed lessons learned and the current status of business transitions within the Shared Service Center. Exposing the need to improve on planning, time and resource estimation and plan follow ups, as the main opportunities of development regarding time management and human resource management within the Shared Service Center. Once the data collected, thru the research, is analyzed, the project describes the proposed methodology guide, thru its time management and human resource management tools, in detail and step by step with the use of its template as the main methodology guideline. Finally the project proposes an implementation plan for the methodology guide within the Shared Service Center, which includes the deployment of the project deliverable during the upcoming business transitions in 2013.
