Evaluación y Diseño estructural de una vivienda construida a base de bambú

Abstract

The following work intends to offer the knowledge for construction with structural element using bamboo, in hypothetical situations of energy dissipation. Through an example of a high class house, the design of several publications is going to be described. The project pretend to become in a reference in no traditional system of construction and give the tools to grown in this area, giving an own proposal of walls with bamboo parts, columns and beams using this material. Foccus on one of the most critical parts of design with bamboo, the connection between structural elements and also giving a few suggestion of the best selection in the cases of this house. The proposals of design consist in using a house with more than 200m2 of construction, using marks of the bamboo’s specie Guadua Angustifolia. The following work analyzes and gives suggestions to use this material in constructions with all the security.
