dc.description.abstractThe project of Graduation titled Digital Meter of Voltages for the Express Bus of the Automatic Teller of the mark Diebold elaborated by student Mel Wilhelm Fonseca was developed in the company GBM of Costa Rica, located in the Paseo Colón in San José's county. This company manages near 1000 automatic tellers in the whole country of the mark InterBold and Diebold. An automatic cashier is as having a computer with outlying special, these peripheral are: the Card Reader, the Dispenser, Depositor, the client's printer and that of deposits. Each one of these devices this connected one to the PC for a called cable ExpressBus and a called special connector PosiDoc. The project is to measure this way the voltage in each one of the pines of the PosiDoc to detect if the voltage is the appropriate one and if a variation that harms the automatic teller's good operation exists. The proposed solution is based on a microcontroller of Microchip, this it is the PIC16C74A. The entrance that analyzes is an elect for the user, this raisin for a stage of equivalence of voltages to manage tensions TTL (0 to 5 volts), then it goes by one of protection to isolate the automatic Teller's circuit electrically. Then the data enters in a multiplexer for this way to be able to choose which one wants to be analyzed, once elect stops for an analogical converter to digital for then to be processed by the microcontroller. This project comes to simplify the engineer's work or of the technician to solve flaws inside the Teller related with problems of voltages inside the same one, since one didn't have any mechanism to detect these flaws.es
