Cuantificación de la productividad del encofrado de columnas, muros y entrepiso en el proyecto Centro Nacional para el Control del Dolor y Cuidados Paliativos
Abstract
This project involves quantifying productivity of
different construction processes, selected by the
construction company “Van der Laat y Jiménez”,
developed during the study period in the building
of the “Centro Nacional de Control del Dolor y
Cuidados Paliativos”.
The assigned processes were observed and
sampled to obtain data to enable calculation of
productivity, labor yields and costs. The
information obtained through videos and data
collecting tables was processed by techniques
like Five Minute Rating and Crew Balance in such
way that a comparative analysis will allow to find
a relationship between some variables that were
considered important.
One aspect that was found is that the crew size
directly affects productivity and labor yields, but
there weren’t any indicators of a relationship
between the last two factors. All data and
calculations are in a results database created to
implement improvements where necessary and
assist in future planning processes.
In addition, it was found that the main factors
affecting a process or task are the design of the
workplace and the availability of the crane to
work.
Finally, it includes a series of recommendations to
help find causes of problems and to maintain a
good working space.
