Comparación del comportamiento sismo-resistente en puentes viga simple de acero con uso de aisladores de base con y sin núcleo de plomo
Abstract
In the following document, a series of stages and
procedures are going to be developed to analyze
and compare the current and possible behavior of
bridges to the effect of seismic excitations,
through possible modifications in the current
types of supports.
These analysis and comparisons are
made by comparing the current high rigidities of
the structures under study with respect to
supports that through their hysteretic behavior
allow changing those initial rigidities by large
displacements that in the end are translated into
structures very apt to diminish the possible effects
of seismic accelerations.
The structures studied are the
Sarapiqui bridge, located in Heredia and the Tres
Amigos bridge located in Alajuela, both have
different characteristics to seismic behavior due to
their location. The first of the bridges due to its
location close to a tectonic fault must make
corrections for the construction of its design
spectrum.
From this project, we obtain results of
much consideration for behavior evaluation such
as: accelerations, periods and displacements, as
well as informational support for when a new
structure of alternative types of more effective
supports will be built.
As well as a verification of the current
behavior of the structures, as this is not a very
common custom so the behavior of works is
unknown.
