This work was developed with the main purpose of creating a strategy that would help the company Mesa Medical to strengthen its project management, because for this company the projects have become a priority issue and the development of them in one of its main sources of income. Through the investigation it was evidenced that, although the company has almost 8 years of developing projects, they did not have formal or standardized guidelines for the development of the projects, at the same time, it was clear that the practices carried out in the Project management are the result of the client's requirements or negative experiences, and not the application of good practices recommended by entities such as the PMI. The above is due to the fact that none of the people who are in the development of projects had academic training in that area Therefore, with the help of the research of theoretical concepts and with the analysis of the results of the research carried out in the company, it was determined that the best way to strengthen the project management of this company as a first step, was to develop a guide methodological of how it is recommended that the company should develop its project management. This guide aims to achieve several things; first, mark the route to follow in the development of projects, in a professional manner so that this work is not left to the discretion or imagination of those involved; second, to be able to standardize the project concepts language that the company manages; third, to be able to prepare more of its collaborators in the management of projects, this foreseeing a growth in that area; fourth, to be able to guarantee clients a quality standard in the realization of projects; fifth, to be able to measure the performance of project managers; sixth, have better control of the progress of projects, documenting progress through the use of standardized templates known by the company. The strategy of the methodological guide was adjusted to the reality of the company and the current conditions of the industry in which it is located, thus achieving a real, effective and professional proposal. It is expected that once the proposal is delivered and explained to the company, it will begin to put it into practice and obtain benefits from it, and that this will be the basis of a solid and sustained growth in project management with a high maturity.
