Propuesta de actividades académicas-técnicas en manejo de recursos naturales dirigidos a los técnicos del Área de Conservación La Amistad Caribe (ACLAC).

Abstract

El Sistema Nacional de Áreas de Conservación (SINAC) de Costa Rica gestiona integralmente la conservación y manejo sostenible de la vida silvestre, los recursos forestales, las áreas silvestres protegidas y otros recursos, en coordinación con otras instituciones y actores de la sociedad, para el bienestar de las actuales y futuras generaciones. Por todo ello, sus funcionarios deben estar capacitados en todos estos temas. Mediante este estudio se identificó una carencia en la apropiación de contenidos en manejos de recursos naturales por parte de los técnicos del Área de Conservación La Amistad Caribe (ACLAC). Por esta razón, la investigación planteó como objetivo principal una propuesta de actividades académico-técnicas en manejo de recursos naturales dirigidas a los técnicos del ACLAC para que desarrollen las fortalezas y habilidades requeridas; a partir de ello se pueden implementar estrategias didácticas de manera eficaz para el logro de sus objetivos. Con el fin de alcanzar el objetivo anteriormente mencionado se plantearon objetivos específicos que permitieron obtener un resultado confiable y óptimo. Para trabajar estos objetivos específicos se entrevistó a los jefes subregionales y Director Regional del ACLAC, a partir de lo cual se obtuvo diversas opiniones de profesionales con experiencia en el tema; finalmente se realizaron encuestas a los técnicos. Con base en la información recabada, se formuló una estrategia oportuna la cual consiste en una serie de charlas sobre manejo de recursos naturales. Los resultados de esta investigación mostraron los hallazgos obtenidos una vez concluida la aplicación de los instrumentos y su debido análisis. Entre los resultados más importantes se pudo apreciar las estrategias que el ACLAC implementa para fomentar las habilidades y conocimientos del recurso humano, perfiles de los técnicos, aspectos de mejora y por último las estrategias que las autoras recomiendan para la aplicación de las charlas.

The Sistema Nacional de Áreas de Conservación de Costa Rica (SINAC) integrally manages the conservation and sustainable management of wildlife, forest resources, protected wild areas and other resources, in coordination with other institutions and actors of society, for the well-being of current and future generations, for which its officials must be trained in all these issues, through this study a lack was identified in the appropriation of content in natural resource management by the technicians of the Área de Conservación La Amistad Caribe (ACLAC). For this reason, the research raises as its main objective a proposal of academic-technical activities in natural resource management so that they develop the strengths and skills required, effectively implementing the development of these skills aimed at the technicians of the La Amistad Conservation Area. Caribbean In order to achieve the main objective of the research, specific objectives were set that allowed obtaining a reliable and optimal result. In order to work on these specific objectives, the subregional chiefs and the Regional Director of ACLAC were interviewed, thus obtaining various opinions from professionals with experience in the matter; finally, surveys were conducted with the technicians. From the information collected, a timely strategy was formulated, which consists of a series of talks on natural resource management. The results of this research show the findings obtained once the application of the instruments and their due analysis have been concluded. Among the most important results we will be able to appreciate the strategies that the ACLAC implements to promote the skills and knowledge of the human resource, profiles of the technicians, aspects of improvement and finally the strategies that the authors recommend for the application of the talks.
