Proyecto turístico Centro Cultural Mano de Tigre un emprendimiento liderado por mujeres indígenas

Abstract

Este trabajo tiene como objetivo principal analizar la oferta turística del emprendimiento indígena Centro Cultural Mano de Tigre, liderado por mujeres del territorio de Térraba. Las mujeres indígenas han desempeñado un papel fundamental en el desarrollo de sus comunidades y pueblos, por el hecho de que han asumido diversos roles que les han permitido liderar y guiar sus comunidades en busca de relaciones más equitativas. En cuanto al ámbito económico, las mujeres indígenas han emprendido diversas iniciativas, una de ellas y la fundamental, es el turismo, el cual es una fuente de ingreso y mejora para la calidad de vida de sus familias y comunidades, principalmente a través de la producción sostenible y el comercio justo. Como punto importante a destacar, es que han logrado establecer modelos de desarrollo que valoran la riqueza natural y cultural de sus propios territorios. Tomando en cuenta que para un verdadero desarrollo sostenible del turismo indígena, se requiere que nazca o surja desde adentro, dirigido y escogido por la comunidad y sus lideres indígenas, se debe discutir sobre las consecuencias positivas y negativas que la práctica puede traer a su estilo de vida, tanto en el presente como a las generaciones futuras, y desde ahí definir una dirección para el bien común, que les permita preservar y dar continuidad a su cultura ancestral desde el respeto por su cosmovisión, los recursos naturales y culturales que sume a la revitalización cultural de los pueblos.

The main objective of this work is to analyze the tourist offer of the indigenous enterprise Cultural Center Mano de Tigre, led by women from the territory of Térraba. Indigenous women have played a fundamental role in the development of their communities, due to the fact that they have assumed various roles that have allowed them to lead and guide their communities in search of more equitable relationships. Regarding the economic sphere, indigenous women have undertaken various initiatives, one of them and the fundamental one, is tourism, which is a source of income and improvement for the quality of life of their families and communities, mainly through sustainable production and fair trade. An important point to highlight is that they have managed to establish development models that value the natural and cultural wealth of their own territories. Taking into account that for true sustainable development of indigenous tourism, it is required that it be born or arise from within, directed and chosen by the community and its indigenous leaders, It is necessary to discuss the positive and negative consequences that the practice can bring to their lifestyle, both in the present and for future generations, and from there define a direction for the common good, which allows them to preserve and give continuity to their ancestral culture from respect for its worldview, the natural and cultural resources that contribute to the cultural revitalization of the people.
