In a society full of challenges and competition, companies must find ways to cope with these challenges. It is for this reason that companies are adopting new management systems to help have a clear view of the strategies. The Balanced Scorecard (BSC) seeks to turn strategic business objectives into actions, and because of this approach is that companies and their leaders are seeking to implement it as a new system for their companies. To implement a system such as the Balanced Scorecard companies it’s needed to follow a structure, unlike many previous administrative ideologies, the BSC doesn’t give total focus to the financial factor, but it analyzes equally the different perspectives that it represents, among them we can mention customer satisfaction, quality of work and satisfaction. The above makes this system a complete management system. A design proposal for implementing a maintenance management based on a scorecard, adapted to the actual situation of the Department of Facilities is presented in the next project. It also includes an analysis of criticality for teams that make up the Facilities Department and are responsible for maintaining the conditions of basic inputs (compressed air, distilled water, air conditioning), making a RCM for the selected team, and such analysis is done by proposing a manual of preventive maintenance.
