Rediseño del sistema de gases médicos

Abstract

El presente informe contiene la descripción de la práctica profesional de especialidad para optar por el grado de licenciatura en ingeniería en mantenimiento industrial realizada en el Servicio de Ingeniería y Mantenimiento del Hospital Nacional de Niños, el cual se encuentra ubicado en Paseo Colón de la capital de Costa Rica, San José. La práctica profesional de especialidad consistió en realizar un proyecto en la administración del mantenimiento y otro en el diseño de ingeniería. El proyecto de la administración del mantenimiento consistió en realizar el inventario y los manuales de mantenimiento preventivo del equipo industrial existente en los tres edificios del Hospital (Hospitalización, Especialidades Médicas y el edificio de Tamizaje). Actualmente se lleva a cabo la implementación de un plan de mantenimiento preventivo para todos los equipos industriales, médicos, arquitectónicos o de infraestructura del Hospital Nacional de Niños, y al no conocerse la cantidad y ubicación de éstos, es indispensable para el Servicio de Ingeniería y Mantenimiento contar con un inventario y a la vez de los manuales de mantenimiento respectivo para cada equipo, esto con el fin de darle el seguimiento y desarrollo al plan de mantenimiento en el Hospital. El equipo seleccionado forma parte de los sistemas de aire acondicionado, aire comprimido, bombas de vacío y bombas centrífugas. Para el desarrollo del proyecto, se utilizó el formato establecido por la Dirección y Conservación de Mantenimiento de la Caja Costarricense del Seguro Social. El proyecto de ingeniería consistió en realizar el rediseño del sistema de gases médicos del Hospital, el cual está compuesto por el sistema de aire comprimido medicado y el sistema de vacío, éstos cuentan con diferentes componentes como lo son compresores, filtros, secadores de aire comprimido, bombas de vacío. Este proyecto se realizó con el fin de verificar si los equipos utilizados están en capacidad de suplir la demanda que requieren los diferentes servicios que utilizan aire y vacío, así como soportar una futura ampliación, también se realizó con tal de verificar los diámetros de las diferentes tuberías utilizadas en los dos sistemas. Para su realización, evaluación y rediseño se tomaron como referencia los criterios establecidos por la norma NFPA 99 (National Fire Protection Association), en lo referente a los requisitos que deben cumplir los elementos que conforman un sistema de gases médicos.

The formless present contains the description of the professional practice of specialty to opt for the degree grade in engineering in industrial maintenance carried out in the Service of Engineering and Maintenance of the National Hospital of Children, which is located in Walk Columbus of the capital of Costa Rica, San José. The professional practice of specialty consisted on carrying out a project in the administration of the maintenance and another in the engineering design. The project of the administration of the maintenance consisted on carrying out the inventory and the manuals of preventive maintenance of the existent industrial team in the three buildings of the Hospital (Hospitalization, Medical Specialties and the building of Tamizaje). At the moment it is carried out the implementation of a plan of preventive maintenance for all the industrial equipment, medical, architectural or of infrastructure of the National Hospital of Children, and when not being known the quantity and location of these, it is indispensable for the Service of Engineering and Maintenance to have an inventory and at the same time of the manuals of respective maintenance for each team, this with the purpose of giving the pursuit and development to the maintenance plan in the Hospital. The selected team is part of the air conditioning systems, compressed air, vacuum bombs and centrifugal bombs. For the development of the project, the format was used settled down by the Address and Conservation of Maintenance of the Caja Costarricense del Seguro Social. The engineering project consisted on carrying out the I redraw of the system of medical gases of the Hospital, which is compound for the system of prescribed compressed air and the hole system, these have different components as they are it compressors, filters, dryers of compressed air, hole bombs. This project was carried out with the purpose of verifying if the used teams are in capacity of replacing the demand that you/they require the different services that use air and hole, as well as to support a future amplification, he/she was also carried out with such of verifying the diameters of the different pipes used in the two systems. For their realization, evaluation and I redraw they took like reference the approaches settled down by the norm NFPA 99 (National Fire Protection Association), regarding the requirements that should complete the elements that conform a system of medical gases.
