In this specialty practice, it has developed a project that consists of two parts, both related. The technical part is in the mechanical area, more specifically in the area of thermal fluids and the other part is maintenance management. The technical part is calculating thermal load for air conditioning supply clinical laboratory, belonging to Maximiliano Peralta Jiménez Hospital, located in the central region of the province of Cartago. To start calculating thermal load several views of the enclosure were made to carry out a survey of the most important laboratory data such as building materials, electrical grid, space available, internal temperature, teams in each venue, number of people they are working in each enclosure and a check of air conditioning equipment currently installed. He proceeded to perform calculations based on ASHRAE, specifically in the volumes of ASHRAE Handbook HVAC design fundamentals and Manual for Hospital and Clinics. Enclosures have studied two are only installed ventilation, both extraction and injection of fresh air, this will be based on the national standard INTE 31-08-08-03. After calculating the thermal load, we proceeded to select the team, designing products, based on criteria of flow, sound and conduction losses air. The administrative part is to make plans and preventive maintenance routines for air conditioning equipment and selected for the clinical laboratory ventilation.
