Actually, companies are looking to greatly reduce any expense that they don´t consider to be producing, maintenance is included in this group, for that reason are introduced modern maintenance management systems for reduce faults and use of the least possible labor force. Therefore, the project is developed using the methodology of PHM, which seeks to diagnose and predict failures with on line monitoring on equipment and its components, in this work were determined the variables needed to measure in critical equipment such as screw compressor, vacuum pumps and air conditioners. In the case of the project only worked directly in the compressor because the company just has on, and around 94% the production process depends of the compressed air. It´s determined how to save the physical variable that are measured in the screw compressor using the company´s data acquisitor, trying to have data to predict failures to avoid an unexpected stop or over maintenance of the equipment, applying RUL´s concepts, which is based on using the equipment or components as long as possible without making changes ahead of time or lengthening the use time putting the equipment in danger. As a quick result of the project in diagnosis it is obtained that when using the sensors of the compressor can be extend the change of oil and air filters, with this looking save money for over maintenance, in addition, that the compressor´s air entrance is around 4°C above the ambient temperature being affected the efficiency of the equipment. In addition, for the PHM´s element the prognosis arises using the Weibull probabilistic methodology, the method seeks to determine in mathematical way the reliability and time to change an element of a teames
