dc.description.abstractThis document details a project to opt for the master's degree in Computing with emphasis on Information Systems of Tecnologico de Costa Rica (TEC). The dance academy Son Latinos is a company dedicated to the teaching of popular dance in Costa Rica. Technology has never been completely distant from the company and franchisees and brand owners have shown interest in incorporating information technologies into business activities. Through technology they look to support their strategies, achieve competitive advantages and facilitate the growth of the company and the fulfillment of its objectives. The project consists of a strategic digital business planning proposal for the Son Latinos dance academy. Being an SME-type company, it is considered more important to focus on the technology that directly affects and generates value for a small business. For this reason, a digital business strategic planning methodology is used. A strategic digital business planning focuses on analyzing how technological solutions based on the power of the internet and the web can positively impact the business. Through this strategic digital business plan, the dance academy is given a guide to implement web technology and the power of the internet intelligently; in this way, the purpose is to try to ensure that the investments made in IT offer the greatest possible value and that the projects to be implemented are aligned with the objectives and interests of the business. The methodology implemented to achieve the strategic plan has four stages. The first stage called "Identifying the business strategy" is an analysis of the current situation of the business and its technologies. The strategy that leads the dance academy towards the future is identified and, in addition, the reality of the company around the technologies is determined. In the second stage, called "Developing the direction of the digital strategy", the definition of the direction that Son Latinos should take at the level of web technologies is made. Therefore, the objectives for the digital strategy are defined and aligned according to the business objectives; In addition, the main projects to be developed were identified in this phase. In the third stage, the "Route Map" was defined, in this map the projects were placed in a timeline for the next 2 years and their main risks were analyzed. Finally, in the fourth stage, called "Develop the constitutive act", the constitutive act of the project with the highest priority was developed.es
