Abstract
El objetivo del informe es mostrar el diseño, implementación y validación de
un sistema de control distribuido para el área llamada “Facilities” en la planta de
tratamiento de gas natural de Tratayen, Argentina. Para esto se hace uso de la
metodología presentada en el libre “Diseño y Desarrollo de Productos” de Karl Ulrich
y Steven Eppinger.
El proyecto nace de la necesidad controlar y monitorear los procesos del
área, esto para habilitar la puesta en marcha del nuevo módulo de tratamiento de
gas natural perteneciente a la expansión de la planta iniciada en 2018 por TGS.
La propuesta de solución abarca desde un análisis riguroso de la
documentación y planos de proceso hasta el diseño, implementación y verificación
de estrategias y módulos de control. Para esto se utiliza el entorno automatización
de Emerson, llamado DeltaV y sus respectivos programas.
Adicionalmente se realizaron pantallas de operador HMI que permiten la
visualización y control de estos módulos, utilizando el ambiente de operación de la
aplicación DeltaV Operate, propiedad de Emerson
Adicionalmente presenta una sección de análisis económico integral que no
trata únicamente aspectos económicos sino también diferentes factores en los que
influye el proyecto.
The objective of the report is to demonstrate the design, implementation, and validation of a distributed control system for the area called "Facilities" in the natural gas treatment plant of Tratayen, Argentina. To achieve this, the methodology presented in the book "Product Design and Development" by Karl Ulrich and Steven Eppinger is employed. The project arises from the need to control and monitor the processes in the area, in order to enable the commissioning of the new natural gas treatment module belonging to the plant expansion initiated in 2018 by TGS. The proposed solution encompasses a rigorous analysis of the documentation and process plans, followed by the design, implementation, and verification of control strategies and modules. Emerson's automation environment, called DeltaV, and its respective programs are utilized for this purpose. Additionally, operator HMI screens were developed to visualize and control these modules, using the operational environment of the DeltaV Operate application, owned by Emerson. Furthermore, it includes a comprehensive economic analysis section that addresses not only economic aspects but also different factors influencing the project.
