Caracterización de la planta turística de los cantones de Cartago, Paraíso, Jiménez, Turrialba y Alvarado de la provincia de Cartago durante los meses de febrero a mayo del 2022 desde la gestión sostenible de destinos.

Abstract

La presente investigación consiste en la caracterización de la planta turística de los cantones de Cartago, Paraíso, Jiménez, Turrialba y Alvarado de la provincia de Cartago durante los meses de febrero a mayo del 2022 desde la gestión sostenible de destinos, a partir de las categorías de turismo, planificación turística y gestión del turismo, del cual se describen varias subcategorías como las características de alojamiento, alimentos y bebidas y tipos de turismo. A partir de los insumos brindados por el Instituto Tecnológico de Costa Rica, Universidad Estatal a Distancia, así como las Municipalidad de Turrialba y Alvarado, se desarrolla una línea de trabajo a través del establecimiento, identificación y descripción de la planta turística en los cantones de la provincia de Cartago. Para la realización de la investigación, es necesario el diseño y aplicación de Instrumentos tales como una lista de cotejo para la observación no participante, encuestas, matrices de análisis, gira de campo, así como una exhaustiva revisión bibliográfica para poder describir la situación actual de la planta turística de los cantones en estudio.The present investigation consists of the characterization of the touristic plant of the cantons of Cartago, Paraíso, Jimenez, Turrialba, and Alvarado of the province of Cartago from February to May 2022 from the sustainable management of destinations, and the categories of tourism, tourism planning, and tourism management, of which several subcategories are described, such as the characteristics of accommodation, food and beverages and types of tourism. Based on the inputs provided by the Technological Institute of Costa Rica, the Distance State University, as well as the Municipalities of Turrialba and Alvarado, a line of work is developed through the establishment, identification, and description of the touristic plant in the cantons of the province of Cartago. To carry out the research, it is necessary to design and apply instruments such as a checklist for non-participant observation, surveys, analysis matrices, field trips, as well as an exhaustive bibliographical review to be able to describe the current situation of the touristic plant of the cantons under study.
