Aplicación de la filosofía BIM en la administración y registro de la información del proyecto de construcción Escazú Village

Abstract

The following report develop the improvement of the process of documentation for the electromechanical equipment and systems, through the BIM philosphy, within Escazú Village project by the company Bilco Costa Rica. The specific objectives were: define a logical and functional format, structure and nomenclature for the documentation of the electromechanical elements of the building; implement the documentation format, structure and nomenclature within Escazú Village project; link detailed documentation of the systems and electromechanical elements to the BIM model; and develop a user manual of the BIM model for the owner of the project. Certain international standards and formats were analyzed to define a documentation format and structure to record the information collected. Based on the information recorded in the documentation format, the electromechanical BIM model was created and the documentation was linked to the electromechanical elements modeled. Through the analysis of results, an efficient transition to the BIM philosophy is proposed for the improvement of the documentation process.
