Abstract
Esta investigación propone un sistema de gestión de conocimiento para un departamento
dentro de la compañía Accenture. El propósito para utilizar este sistema es brindar factibilidad y
trazabilidad a los proyectos existentes y nuevos. Además, se enfoca en mejorar los procesos de
negocio actuales.
El presente estudio se basó en una metodología de enfoque alternativo dentro de la cual se
deben satisfacer las dimensiones epistemológica, ontológica y axiológica. Asimismo, este
enfoque alternativo se apoya en el enfoque cualitativo de tipo investigación-acción, lo cual
permite descubrir el problema fondo y plantear la respectiva mejora. Esta investigación se
considera de tipo aplicada, ya que pretende solucionar problemas existentes dentro de un
departamento de la compañía. Para la obtención de los datos cualitativos, se utilizaron los
cuestionarios, las entrevistas en profundidad, de tipo dirigida y libre, y el análisis documental.
Se concluyó que el departamento debe estandarizar los procesos de negocio a partir de la
utilización de buenas prácticas de la industria. La implementación de un KMS dentro del
departamento puede solventar muchos de los problemas identificados. Por último, debe definirse
la estrategia del departamento y los respectivos planes para asegurar la calidad de los procesos
dentro de este.
Se recomienda a la empresa considerar esta investigación para abordar departamentos
donde la gestión del conocimiento se vuelve necesaria debido a la complejidad del negocio, y
donde la definición de los procesos de negocio es básica o nula, tal como se formula en este
estudio.
This research focuses on proposing a knowledge management system for a department within the Accenture company. The purpose for using this system is to provide feasibility and traceability to new and existing projects. In addition, it focuses on improving current business processes. The present study was based on an alternative approach methodology within which the epistemological dimension, the ontological dimension and the axiological dimension must be satisfied. Likewise, this alternative approach is based on the qualitative approach of the research action type, allowing to discover the underlying problem and propose the respective improvement to it. This investigation is considered of applied type since it tries to solve existing problems within a department of the company. To obtain the qualitative data of the research, questionnaires, in depth interviews, of a directed and free type, and documentary analysis were used. It was concluded that the department should standardize business processes using good industry practices, the implementation of a KMS within the department can solve many of the problems identified. Finally, the department's strategy and the respective plans to ensure the quality of the processes within it must be defined. The use of this research is recommended to address departments where knowledge management becomes necessary due to the complexity of the business and where the definition of business processes is basic or null, as formulated in this study.
