Herramienta para la Gestión de Proyecto desde la Perspectiva de la Oficina de Ingeniería

Abstract

According to the problems identified in the Office of Engineering Technology of Costa Rica, in the work of project control, it took place this Professional Practice in order to identify weaknesses facing and propose a tool that provides a solution. For the development of this work we were initially undertaken an analysis of the current situation. For such effects were used as input field observations, interviews, flowcharts of the processes currently followed, and finally a SWOT analysis matrix stages and problems. The next step was to define the instruments to be used depending on the detected weaknesses. Subsequently it developed a tool that empowers project control through the intervention of several required areas for such management. This instrument was thought to manage not only the implementation phase, but also the design and project closure. Finally, a user manual that allows you to use the tool properly while the control process is streamlined project was developed. As a general conclusion is that although the Office has Engineering control methods applied work, they do not obey the structuring through a project plan, which generates several management areas are not considered.
