Over the last few years, the country has implemented different measures through spaces for human development, generally in communities at social risk. Especially the Municipality of Curridabat, wich has implemented Human Development Centers throughour the Canton, which have had a great response from the population and positive results. Barrio San José is a district of the District of Curridabat, a neigborhood surrounded by the area of major industry in the canton, causing that this neighborhood is overshadowed by this economic dynamic. Barrio San José despite being in one of the cantons with the highest rate of development, presents different social problems such as school desertion, the erosion of family ties, addictive behaviors and delinquency. For this, an architectural blueprint was developed in Barrio San José of Curridabat, covering an area of 9014 m2, with spaces dedicated to non-formal education, derived from the operation and strategies that are applied in Human Development Centers in the canton.es
