Abstract
Se presenta el diseño de un medidor de presión diferencial para satisfacer las
necesidades del Laboratorio de Humedad Relativa del Departamento de Metrología
Física del Laboratorio Costarricense de Metrología. El proceso abarca desde la
identificación de necesidades del cliente hasta la elaboración de un prototipo
funcional. El dispositivo tiene la capacidad de almacenar la información en una base
de datos y una memoria extraíble, también puede funcionar localmente haciendo uso
únicamente de la memoria. Implementa internet de las cosas mediante una interfaz
digital que permite realizar configuraciones personalizadas para la adquisición de
datos así como la consulta y descarga de la información almacenada en la base de
datos de manera remota. Mediante una serie de pruebas se valida el correcto
funcionamiento del prototipo funcional. Este proyecto aporta innovación a la
comunidad metrológica mediante la fusión de internet de las cosas con la metrología,
agilizando los procesos del Laboratorio de Humedad Relativa del Departamento de
Metrología Física del Laboratorio Costarricense de Metrología a bajo costo; alineado
igualmente a las tendencias de transformación digital y nuevos servicios digitales en
la comunidad metrológica mundial.
The design of a differential pressure measuring device is presented to meet the needs of the Relative Humidity Laboratory of the Department of Physical Metrology of the Costa Rican Metrology Laboratory. The process starts with the identification of the client’s needs and finishes with the construction of a functional prototype. The device has the capacity to save information in a database and a removable memory card; it can also work locally making use of only the removable memory. It integrates the Internet of Things through a digital interface that allows personalized configurations for data acquisition, as well as the capability to make queries and download data from the database remotely. A series of tests is applied to prove the functionality of the prototype. This project brings innovation to the metrology community through the fusion of the Internet of Things and metrology, improving the processes of the Relative Humidity Laboratory of the Department of Physical Metrology of the Costa Rican Metrology Laboratory at low cost; aligned with the trends of digital transformation and new digital services in the global metrological community.
